Yogita Tulsiani is looking forward to spa and hair salon treatment once the lockdown ends.
Yogita Tulsiani, MD and Co-founder, iXceed Solutions, a global tech-recruiter provider looks forward to resuming his travel both work related and for leisure. Shopping is one activity that he misses a lot.

"Retail therapy works best for me when I am stressed. So I am looking forward to that as well. I would plan a trip to Greece and southern India for an international holiday. I want to see the beautiful temples in South India. Local holiday would be a trip to Ireland," she says.

    Pamper peace
"I can't wait to pamper myself with spa treatment at my favourite spa here. Also missing my hair salon treatment. Actually there are a few favourite London restaurants that I am waiting to go back to like Seven Park Place by William Drabble for its British or French menu, Petrus by Gordon Ramsay, Aqua Shard for its British menu, Chutney Mary and Benares for their Indian menu," she says.

    Shopping store
"Staying in London, I luckily have access to the best shopping places in the world. I love shopping at Harrods & Selfridges at Oxford Circus. There are some other High street brands where I love to shop – Phase 8, Wallis, Swarovski, Gucci, etc. For Indian outfits, I love shopping from Manish Malhotra flagship store, Frontier Raas, Meena Bazaar, Manyavar (Mohey) and Central market at Lajpat Nagar, Delhi. I wish I had purchased more loungewear or relaxing home wear before lockdown to take care of extra long working from home," she says.

    Tech tools
"Luckily, we did not face a big impact of Covid. The business was impacted but it started picking up in other domains specially healthcare recruitment. To cope up with the workload, I got myself Macbook air in addition to a laptop that I have, new headphones due to long WFH hours, JBL Xtreme Bluetooth speakers since I am music lover, and a Google home smart speaker," she says.

    Challenge care
"I got some time to explore my culinary skills. Learnt a few new dishes. I learnt cake baking and some healthy recipes using oats," she shares.

"I have a fully equipped home gym with equipment for cardio exercises and weights. Besides that I also do yoga. My equipment are Treadmill, Cross Trainer and Home Gym," she says.

"I have tried exercises for the most ignored area of my body – the upper arms. I have tried to concentrate a bit, more on it. Various targeted workouts and yoga poses I have started to tone my upper arms," she says.

    Hobby height
"I re-started painting, something I used to love, but wasn't getting enough time to pursue. Sewing patterns and designs on cloth was also one of my favourites that I re-started," she shares.

"A little introspection goes a long way. At the end of every day, I used to spend a little time reflecting on the day, how it went? Despite so much negativity around (deaths, infections, lockdowns) I decided to stay positive. I am a firm believer in God. That belief in my prayers also helped me calm down. I started meditation a few months back to calm down. Besides these, talking to my kids at the end of a busy day really helps soothe my nerves," she says.

    New look
"I got myself some new tools for grooming. Facial kits, hair styling equipment. It's very important to be well -groomed: it keeps confidence up, during such negative times it keeps motivation level up and the spirits high. I don’t believe that one should dress up for others. I love to dress up for myself, my family, specially my seven-year-old girl who observes me very closely and has inputs on everything I wear or do," she ends.
