Kabir, Sajid and I have been meaning to work together for a long time: Saif Ali Khan

Close on the heels of his current blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan, director Kabir Khan is ready with his next release Phantom, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. At the trailer launch of this political thriller, Saif Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kabir as well as Sajid were at the receiving end of many compliments as the audience sat enraptured with the story . Centred around 2611, the film is a fictionalised account based on real incidents. Said Sajid, "I like to work with the best talent this industry has to offer and Kabir is one of them."



When asked if he was consciously breaking away from rom-coms, Saif said, “Kabir, Sajid bhai and I have been meaning to work together for a long time and am glad it worked out this way ." Phantom, presented by UTV Motion Pictures and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It releases August 28.
