Now Priyanka Chopra joins Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Indra Nooyi on LinkedIn

LinkedIn has a network of over 467 million users globally, and just around 500 Influencers. That’s a one in a million chance. The latest to join this exclusive list is actor Priyanka Chopra. She will be joining the likes of Kiran Mazumdar Shaw (Biocon), Indra Nooyi (Pepsi Co), Tony Fernandes (Air Asia) and Oprah Winfrey (talk show host) in sharing her story through regular posts on the website.

Chopra couldn’t make it for the announcement at the LinkedIn office in Mumbai on Monday. Instead a short 10-minute interview with her was screened. In it, she shared her thoughts on juggling films and television, turning entrepreneur and the advice she has received along the way. When it was her turn to dole out some advice to entrepreneurs, she shared what “a dear friend and mentor” of hers, Jimmy Iovine, creator, Beats by Dre, told her: To be successful, you have to be able to walk away from a deal.
