Billionaire Nithin Kamath, who became the newest entrant in the 2023 Forbes Billionaires List with his brother and business partner Nikhil, has always been a fitness enthusiast.

The businessman often hits the headlines with his out-of-the-box fitness challenges at work.

On World Health Day, the Zerodha CEO and founder took to Twitter to celebrate six people who transformed themselves and the top boss. "I'm highlighting some people who've transformed with such changes in my life," he wrote.

Kamath stressed that 'money can't buy good health'. With consistency and small lifestyle changes, fitness goals can be achieved. "Not that we need a day to remind us, but no amount of money can buy good health. Being healthy needn't be complicated; small lifestyle changes can make a huge difference," he added.

The first person on his dedication list was Zerodha COO Venu Madhav, who handles all operations and compliance at the stockbroker platform. "From chubby to the hottest compliance head in the world," he wrote in his caption.

The second mention came for Karthik Rangappa, VP of Education Services at Zerodha, and the man behind Zerodha Varsity. The education head transformed himself over the last seven years. "Full Idris Elba of JP Nagar fourth phase now," he said.

Kamath also dedicated a post to Coin By Zerodha's "one-man army", Vishnu S, whose Twitter bio says Programmer at Zerodha. "Transformed with small changes like eating primarily at home vs eating out and getting some physical activity daily," Kamath tweeted.

Techpreneur Dilip Kumar and Volano Entertainment co-founder Adnan Adeeb also found a mention in Kamath's post.

Kamath said that Kumar is working towards bringing a positive change in the world with his health conversations in his podcast. "He now runs a half-marathon in 1 hour, and 22 minutes," Kamath added.

On the other hand, Kamath said that the man behind Devil's Circuit is "one of the few in the Indian health start-up world who walks the talk. At 51, he can do more than most folks decades younger than him."

In the end, Kamath included his wife Seema Patil, who beat Stage 2 breast cancer in December 2022, in his list.

Despite being a health-conscious person, she had to undergo a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation after she was diagnosed with the Big C in Nov 2021. "The last few months since my diagnosis has been a blur and an emotional roller coaster," she wrote on her blog.

Seema was able to beat the odds and stayed in shape during the ordeal.

In a series of tweets, Kamath said, "Good health is a foundational aspect of overall financial wellness."

Urging fans for more stories, the billionaire said that these anecdotes of regular people make for a motivational start. "It will be nice to have others share inspirational stories of regular folks who made the change to be a better version of themselves. It will be a good way to celebrate World health day."
