Shah Rukh Khan overwhelmed as first-day-first-show army marches to theatre for 'Jawan' screening in wee hours

Shah Rukh Khan's latest movie, 'Jawan', has caused mass hysteria among fans, with many showing their love by attending the first show, carrying banners and signages. The fans marched to the theatres, shouting slogans and expressing their excitement.

'Jawan' opened in theatres on Thursday morning, causing a mass hysteria among fans.

From making it on time for the first show to bursting crackers outside the theatres, the fans have shown much love to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's movie.

An SRK fan club shared a video of the first-day-first-show army marching to the theatres with a big banner that read, "First Day First Show Jawan." They also carried several small signages with "We Love SRK" written on it.

The fans began marching at 5:35 AM for the 6 AM show. They were also shouting slogans - "We Love Shah Rukh," "Bharat Ki Shaan Shah Rukh," and "Banda Hai To Zinda Hai."

Overwhelmed by their gesture, King Khan took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to thank his fans for the love. "Love you, boys and girls. I hope you enjoy the entertainment. (I) kept awake to see you go to the theatre. Big love and thanks," he tweeted.


After the first show of 'Jawan' concluded, fans couldn't hold their joy in theatres and danced their hearts out.

In a video shared by ETimes, the housefull theatre could be seen packed with fans bursting crackers and dancing as SRK showed up on screen.


According to a report by ANI, some fans came from Solan to Mumbai for the first day of the first show. Fans were waiting in line from 4 AM to watch this movie. Some enthusiastic SRK fans turned up as bandaged versions of the actor from the film.

Helmed by Atlee, 'Jawan' also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. It is believed SRK has a double role in the film, which also has a cameo by Deepika Padukone. It has been released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

The movie has managed to beat the opening advance booking collection of 'Pathaan' in India.
