Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, who paused all his professional work to completely focus on his son Aryan Khan's court case after his arrest in the drugs-on-cruise case by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), will most likely resume work in December.

According to media reports, the actor will be flying to Spain to resume shooting for his upcoming film 'Pathan'.

The star was shooting for film-maker Atlee's project when his 24-year-old son found himself in the middle of the drugs controversy. The actor dropped all his work and professional commitment to be completely available for Aryan's legal team. Now that his son is back at 'Mannat', Khan's residence in Mumbai's Bandra, the actor has decided to slowly resume all his pending work.

Aryan was granted bail from the Bombay High Court and returned home on October 30 after spending over two weeks in Mumbai's Arthur Road jail and since then, Khan has been spending some quality time with his son and family at home.

If reports are to be believed, the actor will resume work next month, starting with director Siddharth Anand's film 'Pathan' first, which also stars Deepika Padukone. The reports suggest that some unseen locales of Spain have been finalised for the shoot and the film's entire team including John Abraham. The 'Don' star will be filming two romantic songs and also some high octane action scenes.

'Pathan' will mark the 'Padma Shri' recipient's return to the silver screen after almost three years following the box-office debacle of his last film 'Zero' which was released in 2018.
