    Sushant Singh Rajput death anniversary: Legion of fans make his name trend on social media, actor's sister pays an emotional tribute

    The fans are making ‘CBI Fast Track SSR Case’, ‘Support Sushant Singh Rajput’ and most importantly, ‘2 Years Of Injustice To Sushant’ trend on social media.

    One of the most tragic news that rocked our lives during the peak of Covid-19 pandemic was the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. It is hard to believe that it has been two years since the ‘Rabta’ star passed away, but on this day in June in 2020 Rajput’s death made news headlines plunging an entire nation into the depths of grief and sorrow.

    Needless to say that the actor still commands a legion of fans, who have been making his name trend on social media since morning, to commemorate his death anniversary.
    Emotional tributes have been pouring in from fans who remember the actor for his acting prowess and talent. However, that isn’t all.
    The fans are making ‘2 Years Of Injustice To Sushant’ trend on social media. The death of Rajput rocked Bollywood badly with charges of nepotism. Apart from that, his last girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was also arrested in connection to Rajput's death case.
    Needless to say that ‘CBI Fast Track SSR Case’ and ‘Support Sushant Singh Rajput’ are also trending today.
    Apart from his fans, his family also remembered the actor on his death anniversary. The actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti wrote an emotional note in his memory. Kriti shared a picture of the actor talking to a boy street vendor who can be seen holding Rajput’s hand and wrote a loving post alongside.
    In the post Kriti wrote, “It has been 2 years since you left your mortal abode, Bhai, but you have become immortal because of the values you stood for. Kindness, compassion and love for all were your virtues. You wanted to do so much for so many. We shall continue to model after your wonderful virtues and ideals in your honor. Bhai, you have changed the world for the better and will continue to do so even in your absence."

    Kriti requested everyone to light a lamp, and perform a selfless action in the memory of her brother. Rajput rose to fame with Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Pavitra Rishtra’ and had a phenomenal launch in Bollywood with ‘Kai Po Che’. The actor had been a part of hit films like 'Shuddh Desi Romance' (2013), 'PK' (2014), 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' (2016), 'Raabta' (2017), 'Kedarnath' (2018), and 'Chhichhore'(2019).

    Dil Bechara (2020), his last film, released on an OTT platform after his death and was a massive success. Rajput was found hanging in his apartment on June 14, 2020.
