Anant Ambani, the youngest son of India and Asia's richest man, Mukesh Ambani, likes to stay out of the limelight. But, his quick wit has recently caught everyone's attention in a throwback video gone viral.

The throwback video was from the time Ambani Junior lost a staggering 108 kgs in less than 18 months. During an interview with The Times of India, a doting mother, Nita Ambani, had revealed that she joined her son in his weight-loss journey with strict diets and workout sessions to motivate him, and ended up losing 18 kgs herself.

The 2017 video from the 40th anniversary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), touted as the Reliance Family Day, was organised to celebrate the day when the company went public in 1977. However, late business tycoon Dhirubhai Ambani - Anant's grandfather - founded the company in 1973 when he was 41.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, well known for his wit and charm, was the host for the evening. The actor welcomed the 27-year-old to the stage and praised him for his amazing body transformation. The two engaged in a cheeky conversation when SRK jokingly said that he felt threatened, implying Ambani Jr could become the next big star with his brilliant transformation.

The RIL heir promptly replied, "Don't worry! I don't plan to make a Bollywood debut. I am happy being a part of the Reliance family." SRK responded with a "Thank god!" (laughing).

Soon after, the 'Raees' actor pointed to Ranbir Kapoor - who had added box-office hits like 'Rockstar', 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' - and praised Ambani for not adding to the competition in the Hindi film industry.

Kapoor could be seen laughing with folded hands, and bowing his head.

After Anant said he enjoyed watching 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', SRK invited megastar Amitabh Bachchan - who has been hosting the game show for two decades - to play a round of Q&A with the Ambani kids. Anant's elder siblings Isha and Akash joined him.
