Coworking spaces are in high demand as companies seek flexibility

    Synopsis

Indian businesses are increasingly adopting co-working and managed spaces, as they seek to offer flexible working arrangements that fit with physical offices. Occupancy rates at companies such as WeWork India, The Executive Centre, 91Springboard, Incuspaze and Dextrus are between 85% and 100%, as firms look for cost-effective models that allow them to be asset light. This trend reflects a broader shift towards hybrid and flexible working, according to Sanjay Chatrath, managing partner at Incuspaze.

India Inc is stepping up to provide more flexibility to employees via alternative work arrangements, as it tries to woo more people back to the grind of the physical office. This is accelerating the adoption of co-working and managed spaces which are seeing an unprecedented boom in demand, not just from startups and SMBs, but large Indian enterprises and multinationals as well.Occupancy rates at coworking spaces including WeWork India,
