Despite a tough electoral battle, Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems poised to form the government for a third consecutive term with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) securing a majority in the Lok Sabha.
The BJP, known for campaigning in the name of Modi, won 240 seats, falling short of the 272 majority mark. They will need the support of allies within the NDA for government formation.
