    In the early round of vote counting for the Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has taken a significant lead, securing 24 seats. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) trails with leads in seven seats, while the Congress is ahead in three, according to the Election Commission's website.

    In the Diamond Harbour constituency, TMC candidate and sitting MP Abhishek Banerjee is leading by 96,507 votes against BJP's Abhijit Das. TMC's Rachana Banerjee is ahead in Hooghly, leading by over 5,000 votes against BJP's Locket Chatterjee.

    In Bolpur, TMC's two-time MP Asit Mal is leading by 6,010 votes against BJP's Piya Saha. Congress candidate Isha Khan Choudhury leads in Malda Dakshin by 11,733 votes over BJP's Sreerupa Mitra Chowdhury.

    Jadavpur sees TMC's Sayani Ghosh leading by 8,048 votes over BJP's Anirban Ganguly. In Malda Uttar, BJP's Khagen Murmu is ahead by 11,119 votes against TMC's Prasun Banerjee.

    However, in Cooch Behar, BJP's sitting MP Nisith Pramanik is trailing TMC's Jagadish Chandra Barma Basunia by 5,529 votes. In Krishnanagar, BJP's Amrita Roy leads by over 12,000 votes against TMC's Mahua Moitra.

    In Basirhat, BJP's Rekha Patra is trailing TMC's Sheikh Nurul Islam by 8,480 votes. BJP heavyweight Shantanu Thakur is leading in Bongaon by 5,389 votes against TMC's Biswajit Das.

    CPI(M)'s Mohammed Salim is leading by 826 votes in Murshidabad against TMC's Abu Taher Khan. BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar trails in Balurghat by 9,554 votes to TMC's Biplab Mitra.

    BJP's S S Ahluwalia is ahead in Asansol by 6,956 votes against TMC's Shatrughan Sinha. In Bankura, TMC's Arup Chakraborty leads by 3,765 votes against BJP's Subhas Sarkar.

    TMC's Sudip Bandopadhyay is narrowly leading in Kolkata North by 98 votes against BJP's Tapas Roy. In Bardhaman-Durgapur, TMC's Kirti Azad leads by 6,526 votes against BJP's Dilip Ghosh.

    In Kolkata South, TMC's Mala Roy is ahead by 12,491 votes against CPI(M)'s Saira Shah Halim.

    The counting of votes for all 42 Lok Sabha constituencies in West Bengal commenced at 8 AM.
