Arthur Melo, the 26-year-old is anticipated to sign a straight season-long contract with the team. The contract has no option nor any requirement to extend it.

Arthur Melo, a Brazilian international, is scheduled to arrive in Merseyside at about noon and is anticipated to have a medical examination this afternoon. In England, the transfer window closes at 11 p.m.

Despite earlier claims that Liverpool didn’t have a requirement of additional midfielders, manager Jurgen Klopp commented last week that the Reds might want additional options.

He stated that the proper player must be involved. Some players are simply unavailable; that is the way it is; however, if they can and will take action, they are firmly certain that it will be successful. If they are not persuaded, we will not act. So, things stand.

The manager continued that they didn't need a midfielder previously, but now they do. But that particular distinction makes no difference. If they take any action, it must be the proper one.

    Who is Arthur Melo?
Before joining Barcelona in 2018, Brazilian international Arthur started his career with Gremio in his native country. Throughout two seasons and 72 games with the La Liga team, he scored four goals.

Then, in June 2020, Arthur signed a five-year contract to join Juventus. Over the past two seasons, he has appeared in 63 matches for the Italian team.

He also played on Brazil's 2019 Copa America-winning team, which defeated Peru 3-1 with a goal from Gabriel Jesus that he assisted. He has experienced various issues, most likely as a result of his inadequacy for Juventus' style of play. But it is anticipated that he can perform admirably well in Liverpool.

The two clubs have agreed on the terms of the loan, and the word is that he is flying.
