    The month of July brings a welcome relief from the scorching heat with light rains. Despite the cooler weather, people are advised to stay hydrated. July is packed with numerous religious observances and festivals eagerly awaited by many. According to the Hindu calendar, this is Ashadha Month, and by the end of the month, Shravana will also begin.

    Important Festivals in July
    July starts with Yogini Ekadashi Vrat, Pradosh Vrat, and Amavasya. Gupt Navratri, a significant event where devotees worship the nine forms of Maa Durga for nine days, also begins this month.

    One of the most prominent festivals, Jagannatha Rath Yatra, is set to take place, attracting a large number of devotees from across the country. Following this, the Sun will transition from Gemini to Cancer.

    Dev Shayani Ekadashi and Chaturmaas
    Lord Vishnu’s journey to Ksheer Sagar for four months is marked by Dev Shayani Ekadashi. This day also signifies the beginning of Chaturmaas. Additionally, the country will celebrate Guru Purnima, a day when people express their gratitude to their respective Gurus.

    Shravana Month and Its Significance
    After Purnima, Shravana Month, dedicated to Lord Shiva, will commence. Devotees will observe two Mangala Gauri Vrats and two Shravana Somvars during this period. The month will conclude with Kamika Ekadashi, during which devotees fast and offer prayers to Lord Vishnu.

    This month is filled with opportunities for spiritual reflection and devotion, offering a blend of cultural and religious practices for people to engage in.
