Quoting the Ambassador of Ireland to India Kevin Kelly, experts said it is believed that Indian student numbers are inching close to 10,000, with most students opting for post graduate studies, but an increasing number applying for undergraduate education too.
With Canada capping visa numbers for international students and Australia seeing large visa backlogs, Indians have been looking at other destinations to fly to that are anglophonic nations and Ireland has benefited, said experts.
