    Last week we spoke, you had mentioned, and I am reading out your exact words, you said that you have 'plans to add to your brand portfolio via the inorganic route'. Is that something that is under active consideration right now?

    I would not say it is actively being considered. We are looking at options but there is nothing which is at an advanced stage. We will always look at improving our portfolio of offering, so that we plug each segment of the market.

    What are the kind of growth opportunities that you are evaluating at this point in time?

    We have positioned, our Lovable brand at the premium end and our Daisy Dee brand at the popular price end. Both have strong growth plans for the next 3 years. which are well charted out.

    These are the organic initiatives which we are pushing and they entail various initiatives within them like capacity expansion and taking out brands to more regions of the country. Those are the plans which are underway at this moment.

    What about acquisitions in that and how much has the development has been done on that front?

    Our 2 in-house brands, have reached certain turnover threshold and they are growing well. We are looking at brands for acquisition but they need to be long term value adding. They must be in other categories and other segments which complement and they must be of reasonable size so that they can be value and growth drivers for us. When there is something concrete, we will let the market know.
