In part two of his interview, liver specialist Cyriac Abby Philips says making holistic treatments available is one of the cornerstones in improving access to quality healthcare. He also shares his take on ‘fad diets’, and ways to counter trolls.

He has dissed the alternative medicines by questioning the efficacy of Ayurvedic and Homeopathic formulations. In the second part of the interview, hepatologist Cyriac Abby Philips, popular on X as Liverdoc, shares his views on a wave of new drugs for the treatment of fatty liver. According to him, there are no approved medicines for treating NASH or non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. Philips further goes on to debunk the myth around “special diets”
