    EasyBuyHealth raises seed funding of $350,000

    MUMBAI: Healthcare services aggregator EasyBuyHealth has raised Rs 2 crore ($350,000) from a clutch of individual investors. The one year old company will use the capital to double its employee strength to over 100 in the next couple of quarters.

    Founded in 2016 by Gagan Kapur, EasyBuyHealth provides an assortment of healthcare service listings and works with hospitals, diagnostic centres and clinics to provide the same. A large part of its market is the uninsured and underserved population. It offers preventive healthcare services including annual health-checks and pre-employment medical tests; hospitalization for elective and recurring surgeries; chronic care for long-term conditions as also wellness and lifestyle services.

    The Kolkata-based company is also looking to leverage the capital towards developing a stronger technological framework to build an all-encompassing healthcare platform that will emerge as the default destination for users to reach out for healthcare services ranging from preventive, operative, diagnostic to wellness.

    EasyBuyHealth has partnered with over 662 brands in 11,000 locations across the country. From corporate to individual healthcare and across urban and rural India, EasyBuyHealth aims to be a one stop solution provider to discover, understand and avail healthcare services with a target to reach a customer base of over 1,00,000 by March 2018.
