    Le Travenues Technology Ltd, the parent company of travel booking platform ixigo, on Thursday reported a 55.2 per cent growth in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 7.34 crore in three months to March over the year-ago period. The company, which got listed on exchanges last month, had delivered a consolidated PAT of Rs 4.73 crore in the March quarter of FY23, according to a presentation.

      In the September 2023 quarter, the government's collection of licence fees from telecom service providers rose by 8.23% year-on-year to Rs 5,326 crore, while spectrum usage charge (SUC) revenue decreased by about 40% to Rs 836 crore, as per the latest report from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai).       The latest clarification brings big relief to a debt-laden industry as carriers need to pay 8% of AGR as license fee, experts said. They estimate that roughly 10% of an operator’s overall revenue comes from non-telecom activities. After the announcement of telecom reforms in September 2021, the government had notified that non telecom revenue would be excluded from the definition of AGR from October 1, 2021.
