The state government plans to buy a full-body scanner for vehicles transporting narcotics while the authorities have seized drugs worth over Rs. 101.66 crores in the past three years. More than 2,000 have been arrested, and some NDPS cases have been transferred to a Special Investigation Team to unravel the network, financiers, and inter-state links.
