Former Delhi minister Raaj Kumar Anand disqualified from membership of Delhi assembly
"He was given the date of June 10 for replying to the notice served to him but he did not reply. In the same notice, he was asked to be present physically on June 11 but he did not appear. He was given another chance to be physically present on June 14 but he did not come. His membership from the Delhi assembly has been terminated," Goel told PTI.
MVA to begin alliance talks early, lay groundwork for Maharashtra polls

Akhilesh resigns from Karhal assembly seat in UP after election from Kannauj in LS polls
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav resigned from his Karhal assembly seat after winning the Lok Sabha election from Kannauj. Vidhan Sabha Secretary Pradeep Kumar Dubey confirmed Yadav's resignation, along with Awadesh Prasad's, who won the Faizabad Lok Sabha seat. Prasad, previously an SP MLA from Milkipur, surprised by defeating BJP's Lallu Singh in Faizabad. With Yadav's resignation, the SP will need to nominate a new leader of opposition in the UP assembly.

Sources said the party's Parliamentary Board may extend Nadda's tenure till the election process for his replacement is complete. They, however, added that it is for the party's top brass to take the final call and they may appoint a "working president" till his replacement is elected.

The Special MP/MLA Court also fined him Rs 14 lakh. The court found Khan guilty of conspiracy, while co-accused Barkat Ali received a seven-year sentence and Rs 6 lakh fine. Ali faces additional imprisonment if he fails to pay. Khan, already in Sitapur jail for other convictions, lost his UP Assembly membership in 2022 due to a hate speech case.
