Mark Knopfler announced the sale of his instrument collections spanning his illustrious five-decade career. The renowned musician, credited with making Dire Straits one of the world's largest bands, will auction 120 guitars and amps at Christie's in London in January, with 25% of the proceeds earmarked for charity.
MHA grants FCRA nod to govt-aided co-operative body
The cooperative ministry was allocated Rs 1,150.38 crore in this year's budget. "We have received the FCRA licence from the MHA for the first time," Sanjay Verma, NCUI director PR told ET.
