    A Bengaluru court has remanded JD(S) MLC Suraj Revanna in judicial custody until July 18. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is probing the cases against him. Revanna faces charges under Sections 377, 342, 506, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. DNA samples were collected from two victims who allege sexual abuse by the legislator.

    Bengaluru court extends CID custody of JD(S) MLC Suraj Revanna till July 3

    A Bengaluru court has extended the custody of JD(S) MLC Suraj Revanna until July 3. The MLC was arrested in a sexual abuse case in June and was remanded to eight days' CID custody. A second case of sexual abuse was registered in June, alleging a three-year-old abuse during the COVID-19 pandemic

    Sexual abuse cases: Karnataka court remands Ex-MP Prajwal Revanna to judicial custody till July 8

    Four separate cases have been registered against the 33-year-old grandson of the former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, all of which are being investigated by the SIT. Prajwal had failed in his bid to retain the Hassan constituency in the recently concluded LS polls. The cases of sexual abuse came to light after pen-drives containing explicit videos allegedly involving Prajwal Revanna were reportedly circulated in Hassan, ahead of Lok Sabha polls there on April 26.

    CID files charge sheet against ex-CM Yediyurappa in POCSO case

    The case was registered based on a complaint by the mother of a 17-year-old girl who alleged that he molested her daughter during a meeting on February two this year, at his residence in Dollars Colony here. Yediyurappa has denied the charge, and said "people would teach a lesson to those indulging in conspiracies against me."
