Indian Airforce will get its first C-295 transport aircraft in September, 2023. Airbus has partnered with Tata to produce the C-295 in India. As part of the Rs 21,935 crore contract in 2021, 16 aircraft will be manufactured in Spain, while 40 will be made in India with transfer of technology.
