    The three men hailing from Rajouri district of Jammu region -- Imtiyaz Ahmed, Abrar Ahmed and Mohammed Ibrar -- were killed in a remote hilly village in Shopian district on July 18, 2020 and labelled as "terrorists". National Conference leader Abdullah said on Tuesday, "We are reminded repeatedly by the Centre that our blood is cheap, that there is no value of our blood. When our people get killed, no body is bothered."

    The Jammu and Kashmir police said one militant was involved in the incident and a proxy militant outfit, Kashmir Freedom Fighters has claimed responsibility of the attack. The gunmen opened fire at Bhat at his residence in Choudhry Gundh area of Shopian. He was immediately shifted to hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
