DGCA implements watch duty time limitation norms for air traffic controllers at 57 airports

The implementation of the norms will ensure that air traffic controllers will get adequate rest while carrying out their duties. The regulations regarding 'Watch Duty Time Limitation (WDTL) and rest requirements for Air Traffic Controllers (ATCOs)' are being implemented at the 57 airports from Thursday, DGCA said in a release.

Dehradun-bound IndiGo flight makes emergency landing at Delhi airport due to technical issue

An Indigo flight with 108 passengers from Delhi to Dehradun made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport after developing a technical problem. Officials confirmed that no one was injured and the airline stated that the flight landed safely and will be back in operation after necessary maintenance. The officials denied reports that the emergency landing was due to an engine failure.
