    The post appeared just a few hours after the BCCI appointed Gautam Gambhir as the head coach until December 2027. Dravid and Rohit have had a close working relationship over the past three years, having started their roles as head coach and white-ball captain, respectively, after the T20 World Cup in 2021. Rohit later became the all-format captain following Virat Kohli’s resignation after the South Africa tour in late 2021.
