OTT apps ban: The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I&B) has taken action against 18 OTT platforms for publishing inappropriate and explicit content. As a result, 19 websites, 10 apps (7 on Google Play Store, 3 on Apple App Store), and 57 social media accounts associated with these platforms have been disabled in India.

Three SME IPOs - Greenchef Appliances, Essen Specialty Films, and Magson Retail and Distribution - were launched on Friday. The IPOs of Greenchef Appliances and Essen Specialty Films were subscribed 9% and 36% respectively on day one. Magson Retail and Distribution's IPO was subscribed just 6% on the first day. Meanwhile, Veefin Solutions' IPO was subscribed 64% on day two. The companies plan to use the proceeds from the IPOs for capital expenditure, working capital requirements, and general corporate purposes, among others. These four IPOs are currently open for subscription in India.

Essen Speciality Films' initial public offering (IPO) will open on June 23 and close on June 27. The Mumbai-based company exports specialized plastic products for home improvement and furnishings, and intends to use the IPO's funds for debt repayment, working capital requirements and general corporate purposes. The IPO consists of a fresh equity issue of up to 46.99 lakh equity shares of face value of INR10 ($0.14) each and an offer for sale of up to 1.5 million equity shares by selling shareholders with a price band of INR101-107 per share.
