    Assam flood situation improving

    The flood situation in Assam saw significant improvement on Monday as water levels receded quickly across various regions of the state, according to officials. The India Meteorological Department's Regional Meteorological Centre in Guwahati has not issued any alerts, aside from predicting some rain in Barak Valley and a few districts in central Assam.

    UP CM Yogi Adityanath inspects flood-affected areas in Shravasti; distributes relief materials

    Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected areas in Shravasti and distributed relief material. Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh stated that the government is closely monitoring the flood situation caused by heavy rainfall in multiple states. Relief efforts are underway in 12 flood-affected districts, with two reported casualties.

    Delhi Flood: Sub-branch of Munak Canal breaks, flooding residential areas in North Delhi

    On Thursday, a sub-branch of the Munak Canal had a breach, flooding the residential areas of JJ Colony in the Bawana region of North Delhi. Munak Canal, which is a part of the Western Yamuna Canal, got its Career Lined Channel (CLC) that runs into Bawana broken, leading to floods in nearby areas.
