    Record 3.3 lakh candidates apply for CAT 2023, 30% higher than last year

    The number of candidates registering for the Common Admission Test (CAT) in India has reached a record high of 3.3 lakh, a 30% increase from the previous year. This surge has been attributed to the increased visibility of CAT on social media platforms and the expansion of test cities and exam centers. Of the total applicants, 38% are female, reflecting a 3% increase from last year.
