    ADB, ENGIE SA partner to build 400 MW solar power plant in Gujarat

    ADB and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank co-financed a Rs 1,460 crore loan for ENGIE's 400MW solar plant in Gujarat. This supports India's clean energy transition and non-fossil fuel targets.     India's first solar mission, Aditya-L1, completed its first halo orbit around the Sun-Earth L1 point, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) announced. Launched on September 2 last year, the Aditya-L1 spacecraft was inserted into its targeted halo orbit on January 6. It takes 178 days to complete a revolution around the L1 point. Station-keeping manoeuvres on February 22, June 7, and July 2 have maintained its orbit, with the latest manoeuvre ensuring it continues into the second halo orbit path. The mission's complex dynamics and trajectory planning have validated ISRO's in-house flight dynamics software.

    Adani to invest Rs 2 lakh crore in renewable energy capacity addition by 2030

    Adani Group plans to invest Rs 2 lakh crore by 2030 to achieve 40 GW of renewable energy generation capacity, aiming for net zero emissions by 2050. With over 10 GW capacity currently, they aim to add 6-7 GW annually to reach 50 GW by 2030. The investment is estimated at Rs 5 crore per megawatt. Adani Green Energy Ltd has added 2.8 GW capacity in FY24.
