    IFFCO to procure 2,500 agri-drones; launches campaign to train 5k rural entrepreneurs to promote use of nano fertilisers

    Indian cooperative IFFCO is launching a national campaign to promote the use of nano fertilisers, with plans to procure 2,500 agri-drones and train 5,000 rural entrepreneurs. The drones will be used to spray IFFCO's nano urea and nano di-ammonium phosphate products. The cooperative will also purchase 2,500 electric three-wheelers to transport the drones to farmers' fields. The campaign will also train rural entrepreneurs to use the drones for spraying nano fertilisers.

    IoTechWorld to operationalise 7 drone pilot training organisations in 5 states by July

    Drone manufacturer IoTechWorld Avigation has announced the opening of seven remote pilot training organisations across five Indian states. Capable of training up to 360 budding drone pilots, the facilities will become operational between May and July 2021. IoTechWorld has already collaborated with universities and other institutions to establish the organisations.
