    HC bars BJP from running ads against TMC, slams ECI

    A single bench of Justice Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya restrained the BJP from publishing any kind of advertisements that breached the model code of conduct till June 4 or until further notice. "This court is surprised that no resolution worth the name has been arrived at regarding the said complaints to date, more so, since most of the phases of the electoral process are already over and only two phases are left and the entire election process shall be concluded by June 4," Justice Bhattacharya said in his order on a petition of the Trinamool Congress.
