Some are also skilling trans employees, offering higher stipend for hormone therapy and even identifying more roles for transgenders. Tata Steel will soon be hiring at least 50 transgender persons. “Tata Steel currently has 106 transgenders who are working across all locations,” a company spokesperson said in an emailed response.

    Germany eases citizenship laws; to now allow foreigners in the country to get German passport in three years

    German lawmakers voted to approve legislation that relaxes the rules on obtaining citizenship and eliminates restrictions on dual citizenship. The proposal aims to enhance immigrant integration and facilitate the recruitment of skilled workers. Under the new legislation, individuals can qualify for citizenship after residing in Germany for five years, compared to the current requirements of eight years.
