Cyclonic circulation: IMD issues yellow alert for various districts in Telangana

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on September 22 issued a yellow alert for various districts in North and northeastern parts of Telangana. While the districts, including Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, Jagtial, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, and Sircilla are likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall, several areas under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall on September 22. The yellow alert has been triggered by the influence of a low-pressure system over southeast Jharkhand and neighboring areas, accompanied by cyclonic circulation.
