Goa records 10 new Covid cases, active count at 32

PANAJI: Goa registered 10 fresh Covid cases on Saturday taking the active cases of the virus to 32. All the patients have opted for home isolation.
The 10 cases were detected out of 222 samples that were tested in 24 hours till Saturday.
Goa has so far reported 19 cases of the Covid sub-variant JN.1, the most among all the states that are conducting tests.A descendant of the Omicron lineage, JN.1 has become one of the fastest-spreading viruses in the last few weeks.
The state saw two recoveries on Saturday with the recovery rate at 98.46%.
