Telangana Engineers & doctors ace law entrance test

A total of 4,485 engineering graduates and 68 MBBS degree holders qualified for the Law Common Entrance Test conducted by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana Council for Higher Education. The LAWCET 3-year entrance examination saw significant participation from candidates with engineering degrees.

HYDERABAD: Not just traditional degree students, but students with various professional degrees also tried their hand at Law Common Entrance Test this year. A total of 4,485 engineering graduates and 68 MBBS degree holders qualified in the exam this year.
Conducted by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana Council for Higher Education, the LAWCET 3-year entrance examination saw significant participation from candidates with engineering degrees.
Out of 7,111 registered B Tech/BE graduates, 5,328 appeared for the exam. Regarding candidates with an MBBS background, 109 registered and 72 appeared for the test. Similarly, 64 candidates holding Bachelor of Dental Surgery degrees registered for the exam, with 45 appearing and 38 qualifying. Additionally, 30 candidates with a Pharm D degree also qualified.
The majority of candidates came from a commerce background, with 11,316 B Com graduates registering for the test. Of these, 8,918 appeared for the exam, and 5,790 qualified. Moreover, 4,044 BA students and 5,068 BSc students also qualified in the exam.
