JAIPUR: The health department has decided to blacklist Risaa IVF centre functioning at a private hospital here for lack of registration. A meeting of the State Appropriate Authority for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and Surrogacy was held at the secretariat on Thursday under the chairmanship of additional chief secretary (health) Shubhra Singh.
In the meeting, decisions were taken regarding the registration of various ART banks, centres, and surrogacy clinics.
It was decided to cancel the applications of 28 ART banks, 27 ART clinics level-1, 22 ART clinics level-2, and 10 surrogacy clinics operating in the state due to non-submission of prescribed fee and documents before the authority.
Singh said it was decided to issue registration certificates to two ART banks, three ART clinics level-I, and two ART clinics level-II if found appropriate by the investigation committee after physical inspection.
Also, it was decided not to issue registration to five ART banks/ART clinics as they were not found eligible as per the prescribed standards.
