JAIPUR: Manna Lal Rawat, The newly-elected BJP MP from Udaipur has allegedly received threats on social media, prompting the filing of a complaint on Wednesday, according to police.
The Udaipur superintendent of police, Yogesh Goyal, stated that the threatening comments were posted on a YouTube video. Upon being informed by the MP about the incident, the police initiated efforts to identify and apprehend the accused individuals.
In a video statement, Rawat mentioned that two individuals posted threatening comments in the comment section of a YouTube channel, making references to the recent incident involving actor and BJP's Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut, who was slapped by a CISF woman constable at the Chandigarh airport.

"I have brought the matter to the notice of SP Udaipur who has assured to take action against the accused after identifying them through a cyber team," Rawat said in his statement, expressing confidence in the police's ability to address the situation and bring the perpetrators to justice.
