Over 1 lakh aspirants take nursing entrance exam

LUCKNOW: About 1.04 lakh aspirants on Friday sat for the Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET) 2024 organized by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University.
Dr Lokesh Agrawal served as the state coordinator for CNET. The test was held in 220 centres across 19 cities of UP. There were 108,866 registered candidates, marking a 100% increase from the previous year.
The absentee rate was less than 4%, resulting in an impressive overall attendance of 96.34%.
Participation statistics by nursing programs were notable. BSc Nursing saw a 97.6% participation rate, Post Basic Nursing had 77.5%, and M.Sc. Nursing had a 91.6% turnout.
