Shun ‘careless attitude’ on exams, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra urges government

LUCKNOW: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra shared a video on Monday involving a NEET aspirant from Para named Ayushi Patel, who voiced concerns about irregularities in her exam results.
In the video, Ayushi claimed that the National Testing Agency (NTA) did not release her result. When she inquired, the NTA stated that her answer-sheet was torn.She requested a manual check of her OMR sheet.
“The bar code apparently is torn but all the circles I filled are visibly clear, hence my mark sheet should be checked manually,” she said. She also petitioned the HC that will be heard on Wednesday. Supporting her, Priyanka posted, “Lakhs of children prepare hard for exams like NEET and spend the most precious moments of their lives in this preparation. The whole family puts their faith and strength in this effort. But year after year, paper leaks and irregularities related to results have been reported in these exams.”
She said, “Shouldn’t the accountability of the agencies conducting the exams be fixed? Shouldn’t the govt give up its careless attitude and seriously consider the exam system?”
