Yogi congratulates Khandu, new Arunachal Pradesh CM
Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday congratulated Pema Khandu for becoming the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh. Khandu, who joined BJP in 2016, took oath for the third consecutive term on Thursday.
Writing a message on social media platform ‘X’, the CM expressed confidence that the govt in Arunachal Pradesh would set new benchmarks of prosperity, development, good governance and public welfare in the state.

“Congratulations to Shri Pema Khandu Ji for taking oath as Chief Minister and Shri Chowna Mein Ji as Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh! I am confident that under the able guidance of PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji and leadership of you both, the state will establish new benchmarks for prosperity, growth, good governance, and public welfare,” the CM wrote. He added: “Warmest wishes for a fruitful tenure for you both and a prosperous future for Arunachal Pradesh.”
