PATNA: Two persons – Ajay Yadav (28) and Sushila Devi (32) – were shot dead by motorcycle-borne assailants during a brazen daylight robbery in Samastipur district on Sunday, police said.
The incident occurred at a dairy farm that also served as a customer service point (CSP) centre in Sakra village, within the jurisdiction of Vibhutipur police station.
Criminals involved in twin murder identified, says Rosera SDPOThe armed robbers shot Sushila when she attempted to raise an alarm, and also fired at Ajay Yadav, a relative of the CSP owner Rajnish Kumar, when he tried to challenge them. Sushila succumbed to her injuries on the spot, while Ajay passed away during treatment. Rosera SDPO Sonal Kumari said the criminals involved in the twin murder have been identified. SHO Anand Kashyap, said three criminals arrived on a motorcycle and robbed Rs 40,000 from the cash counter of the CSP centre.
