Man electrocuted, wife injured in Banswara
Udaipur: A farmer and his wife suffered electric shock inside their home on Friday evening in Gamna village, under Anandpuri police station in Banswara district. The farmer died of electrocution while his wife is under treatment.
On Saturday, villagers protested, demanding the removal of the grid sub station (GSS) employees and financial aid for the family.

Once the demands were met, the postmortem was conducted, and the man’s body was handed over to the family.
Pannalal (45), a farmer, and his wife Kali (40) were electrocuted, police said.
Kali received a severe electric shock while attempting to turn on a light. When she screamed, Pannalal rushed to help but was also electrocuted. Kali was thrown to the ground and sustained burns, while Pannalal died on the spot.
Villagers quickly informed the GSS, had the electric supply cut off, and took Kali to the Anandpuri Health Center, where she is receiving treatment. The couple's three sons and two daughters were at home during the incident.
