Varanasi: Releasing a book on the life of Param Vir Chakra recipient Veer Abdul Hamid at his native village Dhamupur in Ghazipur district on Monday, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said no matter how adverse the circumstances are people remain committed to the motherland.
Addressing a gathering after paying floral tributes to the legendary martyr on his birth anniversary, Bhagwat said, “Despite a bid by different quarters to create an atmosphere of disharmony, the countrymen always love their motherland.
One must take inspiration from our motherland, our ancient and rich culture and our ancestors’ ideals to make our country strong and developed as the entire world is looking towards India with great expectations.”
Mentioning qualities that separate humans from animals, Bhagwat said that a human being cares for his family, society, village, district, state and the nation and contributes in its development.
