Probe into NTR Bhavan attack case begins
Vijayawada: TDP is reviving all old cases of attacks on its cadre and officers and harassment by officials who sided with YSRCP. More than two years after the attack on NTR Bhavan (TDP central office) at Mangalagiri in Guntur district, police have launched an investigation into the incident.
It may be recalled that the NTR Bhavan and vehicles of TDP leaders were attacked by YSRCP leaders and activists on October 19, 2021.
Describing the attack on TDP central office as the peak destructive approach of YSRCP chief and then chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP chief and current AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu had sought CBI probe into the attack citing that it was YSRCP govt-sponsored terrorism. Despite the demand of TDP leaders in 2021, police failed to arrest the culprits
A team of police on Monday visited the NTR Bhavan and examined the CCTV footage to identify and nab the culprits who were involved in the attack.
