In 2018, Koratagere legislative assembly constituency had total 2,02,298 electors. Total number of valid vote was 1,71,297. Congress candidate Dr G Parameshwara won and became MLA from this seat. He secured total 81,598 votes.Janata Dal (secular) candidate P R Sudhakar Lal stood second with total 73,979 votes. He lost by 7,619 votes.
In 2013, Koratagere legislative assembly constituency had total 1,81,914 electors. Total number of valid vote was 1,52,242. Janata Dal (secular) candidate Sudhakara Lal P R won and became MLA from this seat. He secured total 72,229 votes. Congress candidate Dr G Parameshwara stood second with total 54,074 votes. He lost by 18,155 votes.
In 2008, Koratagere legislative assembly constituency had total 1,65,019 electors. Total number of valid vote was 1,27,477. Congress candidate Dr G Parameswara won and became MLA from this seat. He secured total 49,276 votes. Janata Dal (secular) candidate Chandraiah stood second with total 37,719 votes. He lost by 11,557 votes.
