Filmmaker Sophia Takal is all set to remake the iconic 1974 film 'Black Christmas' with the same name. The original one which was helmed by Bob Clark had seen another remake in 2006 with the same name but failed to impress due to its loose narration.
But this time Takal has roped in the likes of Imogen Poots, Aleyse Shannon, Brittany O'Grady, Lily Donoghue, Caleb Eberhardt and Cary Elwes in another attempt at recreating the classic horror cult film.

The two minute thirty-six seconds trailer gives us a glimpse of Hawthorne College's sorority who become the latest target of a violent psychopath. It starts with the students enjoying the end of the fall semester as they get into the holiday spirit at a frat party but after a while, they realize that one of their friends is missing. That's where the trailer picks up and the element of fear starts settling down.
Takal has managed to capture the essence of fear and restlessness amongst the sorority girl and how they put the fear aside to put up a battle against the unknown stalker. Whoever the killer is, he’s about to discover that this generation’s young women aren’t about to be anybody’s victims.
