If you have been cooped up at home and wish to step out to witness activities then this show is for you. Ocassion Makers and the Grand Flea Market is hosting a Puppet Show on October 4. The show will be held at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath from 5 pm onwards. Script for the same will be Bhakta Markandeya, which will be held and performed for the first time. The Puppet Show will be held at the Souq Market exhibition.

Visitors will not be allowed if they do no wear a mask and entry will be allowed only after thermal screening and hand sanitisation. Ever since the pandemic , Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath has not conducted any open air event. The puppet show will be one fo the firsts since the pandemic. In addition to the puppet show, there will also be an exhibition and a market that visitors can check.
Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath is a visual art complex and has 18 galleries. 13 of these galleries carry a permanent collection of paintings, sculptures and folk art. The other galleries are rented out for exhibitions of works by artists of repute. The folk art collection showcases Mysore paintings and Leather Puppets. The Parishat runs The College Of Fine Arts, a visual arts college. In addition to this, the complex also plays host to several flea markets and exhibitions, thereby providing a platform for many artists from across the county.
