The three Khans of the Indian film industry, Shah Rukh, Aamir, and Salman, are not just exceptionally talented actors but have also made the audience ooze with their dance abilities.
Ahmed Khan, who is an ace choreographer and filmmaker, has worked with some of the big names in the Bollywood industry. He also choreographed Salman Khan,
Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan and made them dance to his tunes for multiple superhit songs.
During a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, the choreographer talked about the variations in the dancing techniques of the Khans. He also shared his experience of working with them and revealed who among them is the best dancer.
He says each of the three of them has a certain charm. Aamir Khan, though, strives to make the steps flawless. Adding further details about Mr. Perfectionist, he said, “I did my first film, Rangeela, with Aamir Khan and created the hook step for the song ‘Ayi Ayi Yo.’ Aamir would ask how many steps there are, put in that much effort, and make it perfect.”
Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, "can spill all over." Ahmed went on to say that they can give several options for the same shot and he will honestly admit that ‘I can’t do it. Take whatever is within my style.’ The Indian choreographer collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan on numerous movies, including ‘Pardes’ and ‘Yes Boss’.
Regarding Salman Khan, Ahmed stated that the song ‘Jumme Ki Raat’, on which the two collaborated, was likely the only one to take home the coveted Best Choreography award. He concluded by saying that all the celebrities are great dancers because the public has accepted them.
“Many people dance better than them, but have they been accepted? All three are outstanding. It’s a filmy thing, but if the public has accepted them, then who are we to judge?” he shared.
On the work front, Shah Rukh will be next seen in the film ‘The King’ with his daughter Suhana Khan. While Aamir Khan is busy with the shooting of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, Salman Khan has the film Sikandar’ in the pipeline.
