The tragic terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district has plunged the nation into sorrow and disbelief. The incident involved a bus carrying pilgrims to the Shiv Khori temple, which fell into a deep gorge, which led to reportedly the loss of nine lives, and over 33 others were found injured. As the gravity of the situation became known, Bollywood celebrities quickly took to social media to express their condolences, denounce the violence, and extend their prayers and support to the victims and their families.

Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh was among the first to voice his sorrow over the devastating incident. His words echoed the sentiments of many who were grappling with the senseless violence inflicted upon innocent pilgrims.

Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut also shared her condemnation of the suspected terror attack via Instagram Stories. She did not hold back in her criticism of the perpetrators. She wrote, "I strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on the pilgrims in Reasi, Jammu & Kashmir. They were going for Vaishnodevi Darshan and terrorists open fired them only because they were Hindus. I pray for the departed and hope for the swift recovery of the injured. Om shanti."

Veteran actor Anupam Kher, a native of Kashmir, took to his X account to share his pain and anger over the incident. He wrote, "Angry, Pained and Saddened by the cowardly attack on pilgrims in Reasi. Jammu! May Almighty give the loved ones of victims the strength to bear the pain and loss. Prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured."

In the aftermath of the attack, the Indian Army launched a search operation in the dense forest areas surrounding the incident site. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) also joined the efforts, employing drones to aid in the search. The rescue operations, now complete, aimed to ensure that no victims were left unattended and that all areas were thoroughly combed for any remaining threats.
